I’ve always been very passionate about Eastern philosophy. Buddha said something very important and profound: Your mistake is thinking you have time.

Even if at first it seems like there is nothing sensible or new in it, this pearl of wisdom shows us that we can no longer postpone to tomorrow what MUST be done today. If you leave it for tomorrow, that tomorrow will always arrive the day after, meaning tomorrow. So don’t wait for time to pass, because you don’t own it. The only thing to do is to challenge yourself; only in this way will you be able to understand your TRUE limits, your TRUE weakness, and above all… your TRUE strength.

Only with time will you understand that life is not about living for oneself, without purpose, without a goal, and even worse… without a mission to fulfill. But each of us must see our own mission, understand what it is, what the obstacles are, and realize once and for all that all of this is within us. Only by challenging our limiting beliefs can we come to understand what our fears were and still are. It’s impossible to know the beauty of a journey if you remain still. The purpose of a ship is not to stay in port.

Now I hope you understand the message I want to give you: don’t think it’s possible to have any chance if you don’t put yourself out there. Fortune favors the bold. You can either be like this old man who doesn’t have the money to buy ice cream for his grandchildren… or be something more.
